Listen please don't let the internet make you go broke trying to look cute and expensive. Creating a great outfit is 90% style and 10% money. Of course, money is important because you need it to buy your clothing. However, it's people out here dressed in designer from head to toe that look a hot mess and then there are people who spent less than $50 on their outfit that look better than them. That's because it doesn't matter how much money you have if you don't have style when it comes to fashion.

A lot of people don't naturally have style and that's okay. It wasn't until recent times with social media that everyone desired to be fashionable. The good news is that you can be taught style if you're willing to listen. I mean Rihanna pon de replay was far from the Rihanna that we know and love now. So, if you don't have IT when it comes to fashion it's okay. Just pay attention what the girls who have it are telling you to do.

I'm going to show you all how I put my birthday outfit together based off of sale items and fashion items that I already had in my home.

My earrings I purchased from Hair town... yes that's right the hair store. The hair store is such a hidden gem when it comes to costume jewelry. My bracelets and hand jewelry were from the hair store too!

My gloves were from party city, and I purchased them a few years ago for a photoshoot. My handbag and shoes were from Easy Pickins, and they were also a purchase I made a few years ago.

My top was $15, and my skirt was $50 from Akira. The skirt was the REAL steal because I was expecting it to cost a lot more! My look was so nice and elegant, and I fit right in at the 5 Star restaurant that is Barclay Prime. Don't ever allow anyone to make you think that you have to break the bank in order to look fashionable and expensive.
